1. General provisions

Voxa is a messenger that collects the minimum data necessary for the service to function. We do not sell your data to third parties.

2. What data we collect

  • User ID — hash of your seed phrase, for login and data binding.
  • Public key — for adding friends.
  • Nickname — display name in the app.
  • Messages — stored in the database. The last message in each chat is used for preview in the chat list.
  • Call data — call identifiers and VoIP push tokens for call notifications.
  • 6-digit friendship code — temporary, for adding friends.

3. What data we do not collect

  • Email, phone number.
  • Geolocation.
  • Third-party analytics data (Firebase, Amplitude, etc.).

4. How we use data

  • Providing chats and calls.
  • Sending push notifications for calls and messages.
  • Adding friends by code.
  • Displaying preview of the last message in the chat list.

5. Security and encryption

Communication with the server goes over HTTPS/TLS.

Messages are stored in the database. The server may store and display them (including previews) for the messenger to work.

6. Data storage

Data is stored on servers in the EU.

Infrastructure: Supabase (PostgreSQL).

7. Your rights

  • Request access to your data: support@voxachat.app.
  • Request account deletion: support@voxachat.app.

8. Policy changes

When the policy is updated, the "Last updated" date changes. We recommend checking the page periodically.
